Morgh Shaida Carpet

The story of the flower and the chicken continues with the birth of mythical chickens in the four corners of this carpet. Birds that are supposed to be born in a world full of Shah Abbasi flowers, fall in love, and guard their beloved (the legendary lotus flowers, or Shah Abbasi flowers); a beloved who is itself a symbol of birth and life.

The heart shape is also one of the innovations of these motifs compared to Iranian art. In this carpet in particular, we see this form to emphasize the concept of praising life.

The patterns used in this carpet are full of meaning. In the middle, a star design with regular patterns is visible, symbolizing unity and harmony in life.

The borders of the carpet, woven with tiny flowers and leaves, refer to the life and greenery of nature. Each time the artist continues to weave with care and love, it is as if she is flowing into the heart of nature.
